Looking great! Thanks for modeling the windshield wipers in the VC. Really adds to the touch. Do you hear rain drop and wiper sound effect?

Like everyone else already said, thanks alot for the videos and taking your time making them!

One thing that caught my attention was how the trim wheels were almost constantly adjusting but maybe that's realistic and/or due to the bad weather during the fligt? I can't however member I heard the sound from the trim wheels spinning this much when looking at various cockpit DVD movies.

One other thing, the movement of the spoilers retracting after landing seemed a bit "erratic"?

All in all it looks stunning and again and like everyone else, can't wait to fly this bird myself!

I've got a cockpit DVD of 737s where the trim wheel never shuts up, it is clacking away like mad. That's in decent weather, and it is an 800 NG. Also, I thought the spoiler sequence looked a lot more like the real thing than most FS aeroplanes.

This is that DVD in case anyone is curious which one I was on about:

http://www.worldairroutes.com/Helios.html

Incidentally, that is a great DVD if you want a good 737 one, very clear cockpit shots, good sound clarity and a detailed explanation of the avionics from the crew, including some detailed operations of the MCP. Certainly one worth having if you like the NG.

Hello everyone, thanks for the comments! My system specs and settings are posted in the video descriptions on YouTube. It's 4 am right now and I just got up for work so I don't feel like posting them again lol.

The trim wheel isn't like that all the time, I was in pretty nasty weather set to moderate turbulence. I did this to show you that even in the worst weather, the autoland is very smooth.

As far as the spoilers, my GoFlight TQ-6 is very very VERY touchy. I still don't have it setup properly (I thought I did) so I have to go in and tweak it some more. This is even worse during TO when my TQ-6 will send to FS that my throttles are still set to 40% so my engines will spool down on TO lol.

You're one lucky guy Jeremy!! Is it the 737NG you're flying IRL too?

Again, have a good day at work but now when I know what you're doing for a living I don't feel that sorry for you anymore

Fly safe!

I don't know, first I never fly default A/C and I have my frames limited by an external frame rate limiter at 30 FPS which I would highly suggest using. My frames always fluctuate between 20 - 30 FPS no matter where I am and no matter what A/C I fly. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the performance you get with this plane. Of course if you have heavy scenery, that is going to cause you to be impacted more than the airplane will.

Cool; I think frames will be useable.  As always with FSX, you can't have everything, but you can get most nowadays.

Ist the Display of the vertical profile in the lower part of the ND also planned for the FS9-Version of the 737?

VSD will not be added to FS9, it has been covered in other post and to work properly we do need accurate data, sorry.

Since the release won't be until later today, I plan on posting up some more videos to keep you all occupied . I plan on doing on in bad weather at night and one in dense scenery. If you have any other requests or something you would like to see in upcoming videos, please let me know. I will try to accommodate as much as possible but please understand not only does it take awhile to setup and record these videos, but also takes a long time to upload them.

Great Videos!!

But I just wonder how much the differences in terms of quality of the main panel are, compared to the FS9 version. The VC looks great, but the FS9 does aswell. So what did you notice when testing that lovely bird?

Thanks!

It's my opinion that everything in general is a bit better in the FSX version than the FS9.  I think that has more to do with polygon count and a bunch of programming lingo that I don't understand LOL.  That is of course not to say that the FS9 version is not nice looking as well, because for FS9, it's highly detailed.

Nice videos.  I'm still amazed after all this time stutters are still very much present in FSX.  In video four when flying over water the sim never smoothed out.  I can see the subtle improvements in the VC over the FS9 version and the VC gauge refresh rate is awesome but something is taken away from the experience when you look out over the ground and it's not smooth.  I guess I'm just spoiled at this point...   Great videos just the same hopefully FLIGHT is an improvement. Smile
