Good morning,
It might be too early to tell, but what kind of performance should we expect from the FSX version? I'm not a fs9 user but it seems your fs9 NG had very good reviews regarding performance. Just to give a reference point. At this time I only fly the LDS 767 and I'm getting very good fps (25-30 locked at 30) in pretty much any situation on my machine (E8500 @3.85 with GTX 460).

Thanks and best regards

On my test machine the FSX version is also frame rate friendly at thiis stage. It should't cause you any issues.
Cheers

People,

this is a very old shot from the very beginning of the project. It was posted that time in the china-forum. I┤m a little bit suprised that it is new for you....
More than a year ago it was shown and discussed in several german forums especially due the VSI Wink

I like the style of the ifly in fs9; hope they carry that forward to fsx; this shot looks good imo:)  I am sure it will be great.  I used the ifly in FS9; loved the plane; just not that keen on fs9; so really looking forward to seeing the FSX version on some screens as that is the sim i use:)  Keep it up ifly:)

I think you have missed when this shot was posted. It is from pre alpha version with FS9 placeholder models while the FSX was being created.

Once I start posting the FSX pictures I think then would be a good time to comment. The purpose of the picture I think was to show VSD in operation.
Cheers

Agreed Steve:)  I am sure it will be awesome; everytime I see the fs9 version; I love it!  If there was a way I could have that version in FSX I would be happy; it looks that good already!  The VC is beautiful...i Hope they carry over some of the vc design with maybe upgraded textures to take advantage of FSX:)  Otherwise she looks beautiful already.  Looks like a new bird VC-wise; I like that.  This will be a great alternative for FSX users who want a cleaner style vc in FSX; sometimes it is nice to have a plane that we can pretend is new and not all dirty in the vc:)

Please feel free post any images of the progress:))Smile  hehe

Another quick question regarding the FSX version. Will the numerous great looking repaints that were made for the FS9 version work with the FSX version, or will it be a different texture format.

Thanks again.

The FS9 liveries will not be compatible but I am pleased to announce we have brought one of the great painters for the iFly 737 into the FSX team and he is creating liveries for the release.

The 2D will be similar to the FS9 2D only the VC will be different and we will post some flight deck pictures in the future. Oh and Tom you are way too sharp as always. Wink
