Hi, new to this forum, sorry if this is in the wrong area.

Question; Regarding the iFly 737NG for P3Dv5, will the 2d instrument panel work with a 4:3 monitor?  The info says it supports a 2d panel and that the panel supports a widescreen monitor, all I have room for in my setup is a 4:3 monitor.

Many thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

The 2D panels will certainly display on a 4:3 monitor.

Hi Bill,

I just want to add to Jim's reply. The result might look squashed. This new product does not natively support 4:3 ratio monitors for the 2D panels like our older products did up to P3D v4.5.

Just keep that in mind.

Hello gents, many thanks for the replies, I appreciate them both, though still a bit confused weather the panel might be able to be compressed in height. (one indicates no, the other not so clear)
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

The included 2D panel only includes one for wide screens... It will load on your 4x3 monitor, but it will be distorted (stretched) vertically.
