Ok, first select the profiles tab, then the profile you use for flight, then click "edit..." Now select for example "Yaw" from the list, then click "Edit Yaw..." From the "Acceleration" drop-down menu select "Linear". Now you can shift the entire curve down to around a value of 10. Then, if you like, use the "Copy curve axis:", select "All" and press "Copy" to make all axis the same. This saves you some time, but you might wanna reduce the Roll rate, as I said I have mine at 3.

Sorry, my bad. I've been talking about v4 all this time. In v5 it seems you have to manually set your curve points to make the curve linear. This means same Y values for all the points. There is the One:One profile that is linear, maybe you can copy that and paste into your own profile. Use the green up/down arrows to shift the entire curve.

You can have both v4 and v5 installed, both work fine but I find v4 a bit easier to set up.

Is it me, or why is this video so dark as compared to a video from Kansas City to Memphis? I can barely discern this video yet can view the other one clearly, and my brightness controls are set as normal.

This one is at Dusk, and with heavy weather, mine was in the daylight.

Nice video, but I have a question as well as an observation. Before Engine start, why is your exhaust gases on your APU so high? Also you should use one of the left fuel pumps to supply the APU. I use the Left Aft, although I've seen the Left Fwrd used. That is also the one specified in the tutorial PDF.

So, why not use the panel light to illuminate the cockpit interior and this shed more light on what is actually happening instead of shooting a dark video at dusk? After all,the whole point of the exercise is to show a flight from inside the cockpit in its entirety, not indiscernible dark shots that do not share the experience with the viewer. Or was it meant to be a secret not to see what was happening in the cockpit? At first I thought it may be my Adobe Flash Player and uninstalled it/re-installed it=same result. Nice attempt, but I'm afraid totally lost on me as I could barely discern what was happening other than the ATC chatter.

Tutorial Video SAS 737-700 Copenhagen - Amsterdam Nice video instruction. Were you using EXDok software or just TrackIr?

Thanks. I use TrackIR and DBS Walk&Follow (similar to EZDOK, but for FS9).

Thanks for the reply. I will have to look into DBS Walk&Follow for FS9.1 ... I just got Ezdok and I like it alot .. and just started using FSX. I have had TrackIr for a long time and use it often with FS9.1.

Very nice neumanix. One thing though... I cannot understand that so many seem to be neglecting the use of proper checklists. I mean.. If you fly an advanced addon, like the iFly, you want realism.. That´s what I´m guessing. At least I want realism above all. But why not use checklists? Flying without the aid of checklists to remember the items (that we should now by hand, but sometimes forget), is not realistic at all. There´s not a single Airline pilot doing it without checklists.
Checklists are as essential as fuel and airspeed to flying and I simply do not understand it. :)
Btw.. neumanix: What addon do you use to get the horizon to be so soft and realistic?
Take care,

Yes I know the flight was a bit sloppy and yes you should always use checklists to avoid the mistakes I made. I have found that using sky textures from HDE v1.0 and clouds from HDE v2.0 plus limiting visibility to 30nm in ActiveSky gives nice smooth horizons.

Thanx for the info!
I´d just like to remark that my comment was in no way intended to put down on your video. I thought it was great! My rhetorical question was more to the community in general.

I think it's a real life recording from some US station. It has nothing to do with that flight..but is nice!

Are you aware that the original video was posted nearly 3 years ago? Last post was almost two years ago. I don't know if anyone will aswer your question. Maybe PM the OP directly.

Hi, great clear vc video, I'm stuck with 2d cockpit. with ref youtube links: if you right click on the embedded video you can copy the video url to another browser window, video does not show on android tablets as being embedded. with ref v2, i was taught v2 plus 20 knts, so I suspect it's down to company operations, the sim i use is use by airlines during the daytime weekdays. love the sun on the horizon, mine just starts to stutter with sunrise/sunset. You forgot to shut off hydraulics A before pushback regards steve
