Today I found my personal easteregg. NOT via the Flight1 shop, but by asking Mr. Google !

Why is the website for iFly 737 for Prepar3d so well hidden ??

http://www.flight1tech.com/Products/AircraftSimulations/737NGforPrepar3D.aspx

And what does that mean:

"and does not include any additional features compared to the FSX entertainment version."

I can understand that you charge more money for the Prepar3d version, that's not my problem, but before I want to know WHAT is NOT INCLUDED ?

Can I use the Liveries from the FSX version ?

Are the updates as regular as the FSX version ?

And pleeease ! Put a link on the "normal" Flight1 shop page so that other Prepar3d fans can find that plane !

THANKS !!

And do I get access to the support forum with the Prepar3d version ?

The P3D product is not hidden, but sold by Flight1 technologies as it is a commercial product.

It means it does not have any further enhanced features

Yes you can use liveries from FSX

It is updated by all full updates, but beta files available for FSX are not available for P3D

No links will be placed on Flight1 software as it only sells entertainment products.

These forums are for FSX and FS9. P3D is supported by a ticket system like all Flight1 Technologies products. If you really wanted to get access to the pilots lounge that could be arranged, but no support is available here.
Cheers

First of all thanks for such a fast reply, and Happy Easter!

Steve, you don't make it that easy to spend my money...

"further enhanced features" sounds as vague as "any additional features", what does it mean, no ashtrays in the cockpit? ;-)

I have my mouse button on the BUY button, but without proper information....

No there is not, the P3D update will be released later by Flight1 tech on their website in a few days.

When Flight1 tech are happy the file is no longer classed a "beta update" then it will be released to P3D users. As I have already posted. There is no change to this.

It means it is the same product as FSX minus any beta test updates available for FSX, I hope that helps.

Steve,

Why does the P3D product have to be treated differently? And please no "because it's commercial use" B.S. Quality Wings aircraft include dual installers for FSX and P3D, yet P3D customers use the same QW forums as FSX and FS9 customers. I'm on the verge of buying this thing, as I had the FS9 version but it's like you just handed control of the P3D product to Flight1. I don't see any P3D customers in these forums. LM may be a "commercial" product but the iFly 737 is still entertainment only. I want to know that we P3D customers have a place on these forums too.

I just saw a video about RNP AR approaches. Is that included with the P3D version? I go to Flight1 tech and nothing is stated about that. There us no forum there. Those are things I want to know. But if I'm going to be kicked to the side with no forum support then I'll spend my $80 elsewhere. I don't want to be wondering when you release an update for FSX if it'll be available for P3D.

Sorry to vent here but I feel you are abandoning a soon to be significant customer base. I love your 737, I love the fact you are supporting P3D, but I want to know my voice as a customer will be heard by you, the developer, not some Flight1 techie.

Todd

We have no choice in this matter I have explained the same reason time and time again. RNP is the exact same for both products. Like it or not there are available for two different markets commercial and entertainment. I have locked the topics as our hand are tied by the conditions of use for P3D and until LM change those P3D needs to remain with our other commercial products.
Cheers
