Hi all,
We are happy to announce that the 737NG is now Prepar3D v4 (64-bit) compatible. Prior to download and installation, please
read all of these instructions and ensure that you follow each step.
A. Preparing your computer for file download and
installation: 1. Turn
off Anti Virus Software. 2. Turn
off Windows Defender. 3. Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 or higher
users, set UAC (user account control) to the lowest level and leave it there. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-za/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-7 4. Do not
download using Google Chrome, which is known to corrupt files.
5.
Install Flight1's Download Manager if you want a hassle-free download: http://www.flight1.com/F1Download.zip. It will help prevent corruption of the
download.
6. Permanently exclude the entire P3Dv4
folder from antivirus scans. B. Installation:
1. Vista,
Win7, Win8, and Win10 users must run the Flight 1 wrapper (the installer)
as Administrator. (Right click the executable file and select the option to
"Run as administrator") 2. It is
very important to not install P3Dv4, or any add-on product, in a "windows
protected area" such as
\Windows \Program
Data
We suggest installing in C:\*.* (replace *.* with
your folder name of choice) or if available on a separate drive for overall
performance improvements.
3. If you are a new customer proceed with the
purchase and installation process using the downloaded Flight1 P3Dv4 iFly-737NG
E-Commerce wrapper.
4. If you are an existing Flight1 P3D v3 iFly-737NG
customer, you can use the original key and password you received on purchase for
the Reinstallation “Click Here to Reinstall” option on the E-Commerce wrapper
to extract and install the aircraft.
5. If you need your order number, a replacement
key, to reactivate your key due to too many installations or any other support
issue, then head over to Flight1 support and use the automated self-help system
here:
6. Be
certain to run the module installer from the popup which displays at the end after
the iFly 737NG installer completes installation of the aircraft files. This is
to make the required DLL.xml entry.
7. Reboot the pc. C. After installation: 1. IMPORTANT NOTE: Prior to starting P3Dv4, it is a requirement
to run the iFly Configuration Tool as Admin to properly configure the aircraft
and load passengers, fuel and cargo. See the Tutorial which installs with the
aircraft to learn how to configure and load the aircraft. The iFly Configuration Tool must run without
P3Dv4 loaded prior to every flight. 2.
If you experience any graphics anomalies, please delete the P3Dv4 shader
cache files located in “Local Disk\users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Lockheed
Martin\Prepa3D v4\Shaders”. Prepar3D
will rebuild the shader cache when it is next loaded. 3.
If you are a new user unfamiliar with the operation of iFly 737NG
systems, please spend time the tutorial and tutorial supplement which install
with the aircraft. 4. To use FSGRW for Wind Request data, users
must have a version which is P3Dv4 compatible:
http://www.fly2pilots.com/FSGRW
5. To use ASP4 for Wind Request data, users must have the version which is P3Dv4 compatible: http://www.hifisimtech.com
The latest version can always be downloaded here: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Download the full Flight1 E-Commerce
install Wrapper for P3Dv4 from the product page here (NOTE: [05 JUL 17] the installer contains Hotfix 1): http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=iflyp3d
