Hi IFly,

I posted the following post about unusual turn behaviour... then the thread got locked.
So I couldn’t reply. Could you re post your reply so I can answer your question.

we use your software in our sim and have noticed that when you enter a turn, the increase in pitch attitude required for level flight is slightly out.

As a current type rated 737-800 pilot, I would expect to need to apply some back pressure, but the increase in pitch attitude should be negligible at 25 degrees angle of bank and even at 45 degrees angle of bank.

At present, the IFly 737 needs around a 2.5 degree increase in pitch attitude at 25 degrees angle of bank and around 5 degrees increase in pitch at 45 degrees angle of bank.

I have attached a file that shows what the IFly 737 does versus the real aircraft,

Any ideas if this can be tweaked/fine tuned?

All the best,

Michael

I have attached a diagram to show this at www.motion-flight.com/hidden

MotionFlight was supplied with the commercial version of the software.  We do not provide support for that version in these entertainment-related forums.

I cannot speak for commercial support, but I can say that for the entertainment version there will be no additional development of 32-bit software.

Best,
Jim

The point is that you must contact the source of your hardware/software for support.  As I previously said, commercial versions of the software are not supported in these forums.
This thread is now closed.
Best,
Jim
