Seeing as Boeing is not changing the cockpit it would be nice if iFly made a MAX addition with the cool winglets as a paid addition. With Colin's paints it would be nice to see in FS9.

Hi,
As per our policy, we do not give information about products in development until we are ready. This is our policy because people speculate and try to read into words an meanings. We said we would like to do the MAX, we initially planned it for 2020 but the world got turned upside down. We live in a dynamic fluid world, things change and we have to adapt accordingly. When we are ready to talk about it we will. We recently released the iFly Jets Advanced Series - The 737NG for P3D v5 https://www.flight1.com/products.asp?vid=flt1sf&pid=ifly37adv, next will be Expansion pack for the same product line. http://ifly.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=20296&title=expansion-pack-for-advanced-series-the-737ng So who know what will be next..........

Hi,
Thank you for the update and new project. May I kindly ask, will 737 MAX be only for P3D v5? Or it will be available for P3D v4 as well? Thank you.

I am in the semi advanced state of Building my 737 cockpit and I was going to go with the 800 series but on looking at the cockpit and how advanced the MAX is I will go with the MAX as the Glass cockpit is the easiest to install. here is an excellent website about the MAX enjoy. I hope that Prepar3D and FSUIPC will be able to handle the new MAX. |

Kind regards

Will the 737 Max be a standalone product or an expansion pack for the "iFly Jets Advanced Series - The 737NG"?

There is a very good description about the operation of the MCAS system in this video. it is a bit long but explains why a brick can fly. I wouldn't like to be in a MAX if an Electro Magnetic Pulse hit it when flying. |

Kind regards

Out of respect, we have not modeled MCAS.

Hi, As I mention, out of respect. We do not need to model MCAS, that is the great advantage about coding something for entertainment simulators, we model our MAX behavior and characteristics to handle the same as the NG, that is/was the purpose of MCAS. |
