Hello, I am currently using Sim A in my homebuilt 737 ng simulator comprising the following hardware from FDS.
  • Fixed base DST - fully functional MIP
  • MX - MCP
  • Pro max CDU
  • Jet max TQ
  • jet max radio and nav module
plus a FSC overhead.

After reading some very positive reviews about Ifly, I am considering switching over to it.

May I know if my hardware as above is compatible with ifly. i saw a list of compatible hardwares in this forum but that was a post from April 2012. Is there an updated list?

Hi,

Generally speaking, if flight simulation hardware is compatible with FSUIPC/iFlyToFSUIPC it will be compatible with the iFly 737NG Cockpit Builders Edition (CBE).

FDS was fully compatible with iFly software.  For example my FDS CDU is compatible with the iFly software and the CDU manual now available on the FDS website has instructions for using it with the iFly CBE.  However, there have been changes over the years.

Given your investment in FDS equipment, I believe you should contact FDS and ask if all of it is compatible with the iFly 737NG CBE.
